FAQ

1. How many customers have you worked with so far?

Answer: We are a young organization. We have done projects for 25+ customers, based in North America and Europe. We are open for new projects worldwide. We can also deliver certain types of projects for customers in Continental Europe if the customers can speak English. As of now, we can only work in English and that’s a limitation at our end.

2. What kind of projects have you done/ can you do?

Answer: We have good experience in the following areas:

  • Custom Software/Application development (end to end) from document preparation till deployment with Agile methodologies of project management. We have team of Java, Javascript, Python, PHP, MySQL programmers, who can develop custom software. Once you share your requirement with us, we can explain further on how it can be done.
  • Data Analytics and Data Warehouses (end to end Database design, our team has a few very good database thought leaders, and we are also working on next generation database prototypes whenever time and resources permit)
  • Mobile Apps on both Android and IOS platforms
  • Web ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation.
  • DevOps and Cloud computing platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Open Source Web Application Development – PHP (MVC frameworks like Symfony2, Zend2, YII2, Laravel etc.), MEAN (NodeJs/AngularJS). We are best at open source tools customization like Magento, Drupal, WordPress, SugarCRM.
  • IT Security Testing, Vulnerability and Stress testing, Data Backup/Recovery planning
  • IT Roadmap creation, with emphasis on Risk Management and Cost of Ownership

3. What kind of projects are you not sure about doing as of now? They maybe due to lack of skills, experience, bandwidth, etc.

Answer: As of now, we can’t do SAP or Oracle ERP implementation/upgrade related projects because those skills are not in our currently team, though we can connect you to some good ERP service providers and experienced SAP and Oracle Apps consultants. We also have very limited number of senior people for IT Audits, but we can connect you with experienced IT Auditors in our network.

4. How do you capture project requirements? Do you have a process/templates?

Answer: For project requirements we are expecting BRD from the client. If they don’t have, then we are looking for some high level points from the client to nurture down the requirement or having a discussion meeting with them to understand their requirements. Further, we are creating a detailed BRD/SOW based on the requirement and sending it to our clients for sign off. Once project kick off we follow mostly Agile (Scrum) based project management. We mostly use JIRA/Asana for requirement capturing in terms of product backlog.

5. How do you ensure quality of software and deliverables?

Answer: We have a dedicated team of QA people. We have expertise of manual and automation testing with Selenium. When projects time frame and budget allows, we are doing unit test cases and integration tests within the code while development to assure better quality. We provide continues delivery kind of setups (CI/CD tool like Jenkins) to our clients when it seems to be bigger and long development span.

6. What tools do you use for testing?

Answer: We use JIRA/Asana for bug tracking. We use Selenium tools for automation testing. We also have expertise in QTP but we rarely used it with our clients.

7. How do you offer customer support after project delivery? (assuming it is budgeted in the proposal)

Answer: Yes, we are providing free bug fixing/customer support period for 15 days to 3 months based on the project margin and nature of business with client.

8. How do you ensure safety of project code? Like using version control software, limited access, etc.

Answer: Yes, we do use GIT as version control system. We have our own hosted GIT server using GITLab tool. We have best security implemented around it. None other than our team or customers can access the GIT repository. We can also use SVN, TFS, HG Mercurial alternatively based on the clients preference.

9. Do you have experience in securing business websites by doing security audit and plugging the security loopholes?

Answer: Yes, we have already gone through the security audit process in past for several clients and helped to get the PCI certificate like Jabong (a big e-commerce venture in India). We are auditing website based on OWASP 2.0 security guidelines and using tool OWASP ZAP to fill the security vulnerabilities. We primarily deploy applications with best practices as per security concern and depending upon situation we can implement additional security and monitoring tools like New Relic, Nagios, CloudWatch, Firewalls, VPC setups etc. We can also hired consultants for security audit if requires and troubleshooting security vulnerabilities.

Answer: We have in-house self made scripts, to backup database on periodic basis and store them on safer places like private servers, AWS S3 etc. We do have automation for creating AMI(s) for backing up whole server and getting it again from the latest AMI. We have used tools in IBM cloud for creating automatic backups of server on periodic backups and place them on IBM vaults in encrypted formats.
